UPDATE: Blog post... James Harden named First Team All-NBA — and it was unanimous http://rockets.clutchfans.net/10425/james-harden-first-team-all-nba-unanimous/ -----------
The only unanimous All-NBA first team selection in 2017. 2nd (probably) in MVP voting. 2nd in PPG. 1st in APG. 28 yrs old. 1st year in his new position. Under contract for years. Has showed desire to stay in Houston long term. A perfect fit for the style of play our team has committed too. After 90+ games, has bad final 5 and 1/2 quarters. Clutchfans: TRADE HIM FOR D'ANGELO RUSSELL AND THE LAKERS PICK!!!!!!
or for "winners" like Paul George and Damian Lillard who got bounced in the 1st round again and are nowhere to be found on the All-NBA teams...
That is the thing with Harden, he has the ability to be a top 3 player (whom allready happens to be a top 5 player) but I believe what is holding him back is a maturing process into a leader who can take criticism and be able to use that to improve his leadership. It's not like the guy lacks talent, he is as talented as anyone not named Lebron it is just his attitude which is holding him back but to be fair he was great for majority of the season .
Haha, I hear where you are coming from, but don't you think his crunch time post-season performances are worrisome? I mean it goes back to OKC for him. I'm not yelling for the team to move him. I just feel like maybe this is as good as it will get with Harden. 2nd round and out. Easily could have gone out in the 1st round this year too. I'd love for him to prove many of us wrong.
Congrats Jim, but you still owe us next year !! Also, media sure didn't want Hayward or PG making bank lol. Hopefully that makes either one of them land on our side.
