Oh, no, here's what will happen. Comey, as he's done before, will present a well-articulated, truthful version of events- as he has done several times before. Trump will present an incoherent, deceitful version of events. And he may get away with not being indicted. But he'll be done.

Because I have complete confidence in Trump as a sleazeball, incompetent, and lying individual. He has rarely let me down in this respect, and I have no doubt he will keep on doing this. He was this way during the entire birther episode, throughout the campaign, and through the first 100+ days. He won a Presidency based on people wanting a change, a skewed electoral process, a citizenry burnt out on the Clintons, and specious evidence that Clinton committed a crime. He was weak then, and he is weak now. He is a worldwide laughingstock that no President has come close to in the 20th and 21st century history of Presidents. A complete and utter embarrassment. Hillary Clinton is a MF saint compared to this ridiculous sham of a President. And whatever good he does is ruined by his assholeness.

Very sad to see. I told my conservative friends on Facebook that I'd give him a chance. And he's done some good. But the real Donald has come out. And most of us knew all along that it would happen.

Sure, but it would at least be something. When you have the word of one person without any credibility against the word of another person without any credibility with no real proof one way or the other then you've got nothing at all.

Russia and Iran are both misunderstood. But not by Trump; he gets them.

I like how you leave stuff out of your facts that are actually part of the facts but if they are left in look bad for Trump. I know you aren't a Trump fan, but you are a fan of trying to make others look like they are blinded by Hatred of Trump.

That isn't what is happening here. As I said you are blinded by your desire to try and show others that they are unfairly biased.

Let's look at your fact #1. "Trump talked to the Russians about airline flight safety"
That's what you said. That is correct in the most oversimplified view imaginable.

He didn't just talk to them about airline safety. He mentioned specific threats and told them what area that intel came from. That is indeed telling them classified information. Trump's tweets confirm that he did this. Yes, he is legally entitled to do so, but It is idiotic to do that.

It's far more than just talking about airline flight safety. You are being dishonest here.

It's just a fact that has been confirmed, that's why I listed it as a fact.

When you say "what area the intel came from", if you mean that he revealed the source of the intel, you are incorrect. That didn't happen. The fact that ISIS developing laptop bombs to take down commercial planes was classified doesn't really matter given that he's got the authority to share that information.....and I don't see how it's really a problem given that we don't want ISIS taking down Russian commercial planes any more than we want them taking down anyone else's airplanes because it's potentially a threat to American lives.

So far that's all we really know for sure....but keep holding out hope that there's something inappropriate.....or just move on to the next scandal of the day hoping that something will finally stick.

It wasn't too easy to piece together that the intel come from Israel Bobby..... It took reporters less than a day..... How long do you think it took Iran... who is Russia's ally?

Is Israel important to our intelligence and military capabilities in the ME Bobby? Do you think they'll be as willingly to share as freely now? You and Trump can't see past your own reflection.

Don't pretend like you know who Israel wants its intel shared with. If Israel wanted Russia to know, they would speak to them directly. It's not illegal what Trump did but it's incredibly stupid and careless. Whether it's inappropriate is not really up to you to decide anyway, but given that this potentially jeopardizes longstanding intelligence relationships between allies, I'd say this is a big mistake by Trump.

By the area, I mean the region where the intel came from. I don't mean the specific source. But by listing the region or city where the intel came from that's as good as exposing the source.

WaPo had reported that Trump had revealed highly classified info to Russian officials in his meeting, that was closed to US media, w senior Russian officials at the WH

    now follow the spin:

    • McMaster said the story is untrue, as Trump had not disclose the source nor the methodology, which was not what the WaPo had reported
    • on the next day, Trump tweeted that he had the right to disclose classified info
    • McMaster then said
      • “It is wholly appropriate for the president to share whatever information he thinks is to the advancement of the security of the American people,”

not so fast, as Jake Tapper pokes holes in McMaster's definition of 'wholly appropriate'

Tapper recalled that the US government had explicitly warned CNN in March that revealing "certain details about the threat, including the city from which some of the intelligence was collected" — in other words,

the very information Trump apparently revealed to Russian officials — could pose a huge risk.
"By reporting the city's name, Trump administration officials insisted, that would tip off American adversaries about sources and methods used to gather the intelligence," "It would, they insisted, get people killed."

CNN did not report the information, but Tapper said CNN has since confirmed that

Trump did reveal it to Lavrov and Kislyak.
Returning to McMaster's claim that Trump's reveal was "wholly appropriate," Tapper asked:

"Again, this is the same city that intelligence officials say, 'If we told it to you right now, it would get people killed,' but somehow we are simultaneously supposed to believe that President Trump sharing this information — the city and more — with a U.S. adversary — Russia — is, quote, 'wholly appropriate'?"

    Been said more than once...

"...if the president does it, it's not a crime..."
...who says President Trump isn't a student of history?

...THAT he does know a thing or two about....

The only thing that has been confirmed was that the source wasn't discussed so saying that they discussed the region isn't fact as we know it right now.
