Is there a link to this? Because I don't remember this rumor at all.

Even if it's true, no one in the NBA could've predicted his career to go in this direction. Besides, we already have a ball-dominant guard. I don't think adding Isaiah to this current roster would move the needle much. We need defense and rebounding. How many undersized scorers do you expect us to have?

EDIT: Also, before the playoffs, everyone was on Morey's dick for his moves. Then we lose to the Spurs and everyone loses their collective ****. I don't think Morey is perfect. He's made a lot of mistakes, and he put WAY too much into getting Ryno, but he's still an above average GM. Put everything into perspective, and you'll realize that there are about 25 to 26 fan bases that would switch positions with us.

yes thx morey for trading lowry and martin for a regular season superstar and a certified playoff choker and from looking at his shooting numbers an inefficient playoff chucker. THX MORLAY!

Well, Lowry himself is a playoff choker so we still got better from that trade.

I guess those analytics formulas are failing. Weird how a spreadsheet hasn't been able to fully replace human decision making yet, am I right?

To be fair we, fans kicked down his door and by yelling at him - Do not sign another undersized player!!!

One of the best undersized players though.

and so what? Why are you acting like we lost on some kind of superstar?
Next season he will expire, be 29 and will ask for max money. What a great opportunity we missed on!

Isiah Thomas is like 60 years old, this would've been a horrible deal.

For one Morey doesn't just look at a spreadsheet and determine who we want. In addition, congratulations on being wrong on IT Morey LIKE THE REST OF THE LEAGUE.

Clutchfans is in the usual, "time to panic, fire everyone mode" after a loss though so I'll let you guys cook

Proud of IT for improving his game every year instead of getting discouraged. From the kings to ECF series.

We love fat dudes with triple double chins in Texas. He will get a lifelong membership as a GM.

The defense of harden and it would be a sight to see. Not sure they would work.

IT and Harden would've been the worst defensive backcourt in NBA history. The Celtics have defenders like Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, Al Horford, and guys like Marcus Smart off the bench to help cover up IT's defensive weaknesses. Who do we have that could possibly cover for both IT and Harden?

Also, IT made a huge leap that I know damn well none of y'all saw coming.

The funny thing is some of you wanted Dragic over IT. I remember arguing with a few of ya'll on who was better. You guys were salivating at the mouth for Dragic at the time. Boy have times changed

I don't understand your second sentence.
I don't hate Morey, but I do question his judgment.
I'm a master's student in data analytics, funny enough.
    Finally, I was mostly trolling.

Yeah, this is a bit forgivable imo.

IT has been passed up in the draft and multiple times, no one could have predicted he'd be what he is right now, not even the Celtics.

Morris instead of Kawhi is not forgivable, but Morey HAD to have his stretch 4.
