Lou Williams needs to handle the ball 99% of the time when harden sits vs. having pat controlling it.
Not if Lou keeps wanting to drive and shoot a teardrop Lou Williams is an elite offensive force outside the paint.. inside the paint he is just your average run of the mill ballplayer.. dude either blows an open (and what should be) an easy teardorp or gets blocked what seems most of the time. I cringe when he starts that deep penetration, he isn't as bad of a finisher as Ariza, but he isn't good, thats for sure. When he isn't blowing open teardrops or getting blocked you can usually find him completely telegraphing a pass to Capela, which will become a turnover. These are things Bev is actually pretty decent at. This is why I disagree with you, Lou is no PG- Bev has atleast some PG talent. Either way we have bigger problems than this- the biggest being Ryan Anderson. The poor mans Matt Bullard, Mr. Slow Motion himself.
Lou needs more pick and Pop type setups where he can get some space. I swear if I see that left side contested fadeaway 3 I'm going to slap somebody, maybe even myself. Surprised more plays aren't run for him in that mindset instead of And1 complilation when he has it.
Lou needs to get aggressive. Eventhough Gordon is struggling, atleast he is not timid and is looking to score but is just missing wide open looks. I can live with that but lou is playing timid.
I see why they have Pat controlling it because the Spurs point guard defense is nonexistent. it's too bad we don't have a bigger offensive threat at the point.
Lou is scoring more pts than Gordon in the playoffs, and is much better at drawing fouls. I'm guessing Gordon gets more minutes because he is better on defense, because he isn't shooting as well.
Coach has him on a short leash this series. At soon as he strung together 2-3 misses he gets pulled. Gotta let him shoot though it.
That is what we need from lou. 15 shots and looked aggressive. Harden said as much in the post interview we need Lou to shoot as much as he can.
Lou is very inconsistent, it's why he's not a star in this league. He'll give you 25 one night and 0 the next.

I'm not sure what to think of Lou going forward. It's undeniable that he was a huge part of us beating OKC, we would not have won in 5 without his scoring punch off the bench . That being said, he was a huge liability during the next round . His inability to score probably cost us games . Was it a case of him being streaky ? Did pop neutralize him ? Combo of both ? Regardless, when he's not scoring he's a huge liability on defense ... Especially when we play him with small lineups . He's a nice weapon in the regular season and chances are over time , a combo of him and Eric will overwhelm opposing second units . But he doesn't fit next to harden like EG and bev do . We may find it beneficial to move him either for cap space or for another type of player.
Either he is mad his comedian friend say 1 playmaker & not involve Lou or something more direct? True feelings coming out. Either way Lou acts like a child on social media. Def wouldn't mind getting rid of him this off season.
