    Sandoval was a big money overslot signee (>$700k). Big curveball, good sign to see him inserted into High A. But I'm starting to suspect that BCs proximity to Florida is why we're seeing a lot of these EST guys there initially (whether it be a spot appearance or a stopover on their way to QC).

    Was pretty cool in the Quad Cities last week (upper 60s-low 70s for highs), although they were on the road. They're back home and there's some rain in the forecast for this upcoming series with Burlington.

    Francis Martes allowed 5 runs (4 earned) on 6 hits (solo homer), walked 4, and struck out 3 in 3 innings yesterday.

    Same here. If he can string together a few solid starts that will calm down some of the concern, but this isn't the way you want him to start the season; especially if you wind up wanting to ship him out as the centerpiece of a trade package.

    There are 8 lefty pitchers on the High A roster. Thinking there may be a coach there the development staff wants those guys to be under.

    2015:

    RHP Scott Weathersby (10) likely injured
    2B Brooks Marlow (29) likely either injured or pending release due to internet stupidity

    2016:
