Jeter was a good ballplayer on the field, but this is the most impressive graphic I've ever seen, and I mean that genuinely.

    Is this a SOS post?

Some posters have repeatedly stated it doesn't exist in baseball... yet no one (except Stunna) said anything otherwise.

    Why would it?

A team can't be judged until 162 games.

    Nice.

Another stat given tonight (it seems unbelievable, not sure I heard right) was Derek only played 4 career games while being eliminated from the playoffs.

Well, that was ****ing stressful fun. We just beat the Yanks 3 outta 4 and people are complaining? Are you not entertained? (right, I tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas).

I think Diaz just failed his audition. He has good stuff, maybe he can help some other time.

    I hear you.

There IS a nice hint of SOS in it, but I understand if you deny it. Gotta stick with the Buddies.

    Those are the best kind.

Although, its getting to the point where "**** the AL" posts are more appropriate.

4 games against the team with:
-best OPS in AL (Houston is #2)
-most runs scored in AL (Houston is #4)

The bullpen didn't completely slam the door shut against them, but still shut down 3 out of 4 wins, including 2 closer ones. I'd say that's pretty f'ing solid.

We've all seen how often Houston has come back late in games against bullpens and put up runs against both bad and good relievers. That's because Houston has a great offense. If the Yankees are the only ones ranked ahead of us in the AL...doesn't it make sense that they can go out and do the same thing?

Great job holding it together against a very good and/or hot hitting team.

Giles gave up a 4 pitch walk to the first batter he faced. That is pathetic, and counts as a blown save. Just kidding! Giles got the job done. Astros continue to kick ass.

They're on pace right now for 111 wins. So they have a shot at it.

So, Fiers is 1 start short of tying longest streak of starts with 2 or more homers. What are the odds he ties record? Breaks record?
