    I don't know the full details of the current situation. But your generalization of settlement agreements is false. It's not an admission of guilt/liability

    It is an indication though, why would the Rockets settle with a low-key player if they didn't do anything wrong and are sure about it? A player of his format doesn't really have any leverage or connections to the media.

    Not directed towards you, but it's funny how dozens of posters in this thread have absolutely no insight, yet are 100% sure that our front office didn't do anything illegal.
    Motiejunas has access to good lawyers and it should be obvious he was advised to do this, based on some kind of legal leverage.

    At the end of the day both sides are disappointed with each other.

    Moti never delivered and the Rox are just not elite at developing players. They are also giving up too early on them.

    The negative examples outweigh the positives here.

    There are far too many reasons why a party would settle. I recently stopped working for a rim and I feel like the other side in a a case I'm working on should settle even though I don't feel like they did anything wrong.

    LOL, I'd be absolutely shocked if that happened given how badly Morey screwed that deal up. I think if DMo has any other options at all in the NBA he'd pick that over playing here.
