come on, man. You know this is ridiculous. Are we counting runs for Springer's catch on Thurs against anyone's ERA? What about HR's that we hit that fielders bring back from over the fence...do we count them as HRs and use that to justify that players are not actually slumping if the stats say they are? You have your opinion on Giles--that's fine. Say he didn't put away hitters with 2 strikes and it's a problem..whatever the issue is. But you can't just start moving stats where it makes sense for your statement and leave the rest alone.
