I really fail to understand how this is even possible. I understand if you lose to Kawhi + Spurs ... even at home. They're that good. But Kawhi is out, Tony Parker is out, you're at home, and you're facing elimination... if anything, the news of Kawhi not playing should have boosted your mindset. Instead with 2 of their best players out, you get annihilated? I understand one or two players being exhausted, but a team-wide collapse? Again, they didn't just lose to the Kawhi-less Spurs -- they were destroyed by them. Man, I really don't get it.

Harden has them by the huevos. Maybe if Les disguises Toyota Center as a night/strip club Harden will find the energy to compete....an alternative if we can't land another star.

Kobe laid an egg against Phoenix in a game 7 in similar fashion and so did LeBron a few years back...only cure is a championship Ring...just ask Kobe and Lebron

I never bought into the game 5 mentally sapping them out theory but i'm starting to believe it. I think snapping defeat from the jaws of victory mentally destroyed them.

Maybe he should play within the offense and not dribble for 20 seconds and jack up a ****ing 3.

A "big ask" to win on your home floor to continue a series? That is clipper level dysfunction.

It's certainly possible, and I guess likely at this point.

I don't think not enough rest is the problem. The main issue is not physical, but mental.
Mentally Harden simply hasn't recovered from the game 5 defeat in time to play game 6.

Lol. If that's the case, then I hope this doesn't turn into another Nick Anderson situation ...

Wrong. The fans are devastated. Harden is more embarrassed if anything.

Yea you don't understand basketball. The man is relied to create for himself or everyone else every posseasion for 82 games. Very easy to understand even Jordan would be gassed.

Big difference. Kobe already had three rings and was a proven champion

Lebron led a group of no-names to the finals up to then.

Even bigger, neither have practically "no-showed" in an elimination game on their home court

As a matter of fact, I've never seen ANY superstar, lay down like a dog in an ELIMINATION GAME like Harden.

Thats whats most troubling about him

Your starting playoffs center unless Mooney can find a bargain bin big at the Y.

Lets not act like this is the first time Harden has played awful the night the Rockets got eliminated. Harden's apg were down 3 and his scoring avg 2 from the regular season numbers this year, He has not be as good in the playoffs as the regular season every year since he came here and you could say his play lost us some of those series.
