I would not sue anyone in DMo's case. He has proven nothing in the NBA.

I don't believe this is entirely fair. I was watching due first to DMo then later Brow/Boogie. The latter's acquisition pretty much requisitioned DMo to the 'recesses' of the bench. He had little chance and did less to force himself into meaningful minutes.

I don't know the basis of the lawsuit, the frivolities v affects forced upon him, but I just wonder: whither DMo going forward?

By all accounts at the time what the Rox, DM the GM, did was within the framework of the CBA. If so, and hard to imagine not, then DMo got de facto scrod as he hoisted himself on his personally punctuated petard.

Damn. More fake news. I still think he should open a donut franchise in Europe, though.

He wants one more NBA paycheck before he signs with a team in Europe. Rockets will settle cuz it ain't worth the fight.

Awesome - this whole thread was a cleverly disguised "media bias against the Rockets" thread AND a Dmo thread - touché OP

So disappointing. He had such a promising career and this is what it's come to. I imagine he's cashing out on the NBA and we'll see him go back to Europe to finish out his career.

If Donatas is healthy, he will be back next year.
We'll find out next year if he is healthy and if so, how much his previous injuries affect is performance.

There will be teams that will be in need of a big that can shoot jumpers and spread the floor.
In addition, Donatas can post up and has a nice little hook, so he has some skills.
Someone will take a chance on him.

It will be interesting to see what type of offers he can muster in the off-season.
Until then, we won't know if the choices that his agent made were poor financial decisions.

My personal opinion, Donatas should have excepted the Rockets offer of 31 million guaranteed.
It is a lot of money to walk away from, especially without any teams lining up for his services during the regular season.
But if he is healthy like he claims, then Donatas may actually get the last laugh.

    An agreement means they settled.
