Harden has a nonchalant personality so it's easy to look like a quitter when things go bad.

I don't think he quit and that's what's troubling about him. They aren't going to trade him so the best I can hope for is that Harden takes this experience to heart comes back on a mission to be better.

That and add some low post threats and guys who can play make.

So he did not 100% quit but he also did not live up to any expectations..... 50% quit it is then!

I disagree. He quit last night. Actually, it's worse. He never showed up to begin with. He's had games in the past where he basically checked out mentally if calls didn't go his way early on. But here, he wasn't engaged at all from the opening tip.

Where he goes from here I have no idea. He's not getting traded. But people are gonna be wondering all summer and into next year what the hell led to his Game 6 performance. How does an MVP candidate no show in an elimination game? If it was Harden sulking over the Game 5 criticism, first of all, he needs to get over himself. And secondly, if he thought that was rough, the Game 6 criticism will be 1000 times worse and it'll last for the entire 2017-18 regular season no matter what numbers he puts up.

I know he quit on us in this game, but remember this ****?

I know it's a different style of offense, but similarities of last night's game and 2 years ago.....

When s*** hits the fan, Harden isn't the type of person to "rally the troops". That's where Morey needs to have vets to help him, preferably a star that has a lot of credibility since he's also delivering ON the court. This is why I would not be surprised at all if Daryl goes after CP3. Plus Morey has always had a crush on Paul anyway.

But this begs the question, would any player want to play with Harden after what happened?

I don't think players will judge someone based on their worst moment. I'd like to think they aren't as reactionary and short sighted as fans are.

Speaking of which, did any other player on Twitter call Harden out? Sure, maybe they wouldn't anyway since it's an unwritten rule, but still. I think most players respect the hell out of him because of what he did the first 91 games.

More than just Harden, I think many would like to play in this offense.

Look how hard he's running though.

If you go back to that year, he had an excellent playoffs. Against golden state (70+ win team) he had 3 really good games and two bad ones.

We had two close losses and one win against a historic team.

We had no Bev, were starting Terry and Terrence Jones I think.

I don't know why anyone even cares. Whatever the reason, he has shown a serious lack of competitive aggression repeatedly in elimination games. The boy prince is good when life isn't easy, and petulant when it ain't.

Need to fire the walrus and make a move on Harden in order to get near a ship.

Harden needs his Kevin Garnett...a star player that can also be the leader of the team

Harden can still be the best offensive player on a championship team, but he can't be far and away the best option on offense like he is right now, and he can't be counted on for leadership

not everyone is a leader, and that's ok

Can Harden be "the guy" on a championship team? I think not. Open for discussion and opinions.
