Not sure what Keuchel, or any player, had to do with what we were discussing.... which was strength of schedule. Even after this win, arguing about strength of schedule is ridiculous. Many diehard Yankees fans don't believe the Yankees are as good as their record is now, and they're expecting a huge correction/slump due to their lack of stellar starting pitching. So, if the Astros win 3 out of 4... and everybody considers it them beating up on an elite team... but if after 162 the Yankees are at or below .500, what does it really matter? But to answer your obscure/demented question... yes, Keuchel is having a great start to the season... in an expected bounce back year.
Allow me to refresh (page 6, btw): It appears that you helped him come to terms with his dementia and then moved on to commenting about Dallas Keuchel's solid night. He asked if Keuchel was having a good year.
Thing I learned: The strength of a baseball team's schedule is something that apparently needs to be argued about. Who knew.
They did pull him (107 pitches) after 8 (the announcers were confused): "So would you bring him back if not for that one pitch? Of course, everybody would. So then why not bring him back anyway in a 2-1 game? I have no idea." Fernando Rodney tried to muck it up in the 9th but didn't.
Yankees are a little better than your making them out to be. Most live projections have them sitting at 90 wins on the season, well above .500
I tend to agree strength of schedule wise..altho I think the yankees are actually good but we shall see when the season ends..at the same time the Yanks been on a hot streak so I'm taking that in consideration. The main thing is the Stros don't really seem to give a chit about playing them in NYC with all the bright lights..actually, the stros are playing like they're not afraid of anyone
As expected, one of the Bosom Buddies chimes in with more foolishness. Shouldn't you be making a sarcastic joke about Giles sucking? Oh wait, you can't do that tonight since he really did.
Astros having a great season. Great win. Keuchel was Cy-chel and the bats did just enough. Missed most of the game, but it seems everybody did a little something to help. Awesome throw by Jake to end it. Today is a huge test for Lance. Pitching well his last road-outing should help his confidence. Astros.... A Real Contender
McCann needs to get some love to for hauling that in and making a great tag. Good play all around except for the Giles pitch.
