If the roles were reversed, and Spurs lost Game 5, I highly doubt they would've, as a team, been such the no show, the Rockets and Harden were tonight.

Ultimately, I think the team followed Harden's lead.

Why do you keep repeating this? Some random guy makes a claim on Clutchfans that Harden was out until 4AM and now you're spamming every thread about it.

Have you got any verification that he was actually at the club? Or is some guy on the internet's word enough for you?

I'm a Harden fan but have seen enough of his mental toughness to know he's not the guy this team needs. As talented as he is I would be ok with team moving on from him and getting what we can.

 

How do I as a fan know if he's going to pull this **** again on us in another important playoff game next year or the year after that?

I'm with you, I'm emotional too but we both know that we will support the hell out of him next season. Harden sucked and this is 100 percent on him but let's also remember that lamarcus aldridge straight up BALLED OUT. that nene injury hurt a lot. we missed a lot of 3s. they are 8-1 without kawhi now. it isn't as shameful as we think at first. our emotions will chill out.

We both know that Harden is a damn good player and is our best bet to have success here. Everyone grows/matures at different rates. not everyone is magic johnson who wins his rookie year.

really sensitive/emotional players like harden tend to get into their own heads sometimes. we all remember lebron's 2011 mavs series. that was WORSE than harden this series. I'm with you and understand the pain. We trusted him, we had faith in him, we believed in him. Now we have to feel like fools and idiots in front of all the doubters but we are true fans. true fans leave themselves emotionally vulnerable to their team and favorite player. It comes with the territory. I wouldn't expect any other reaction.

But I'm ready to hella root for harden next year.
