The priority this offseason imo is: Find some idiot team smh and dumb Anderson to them while taking back as little salary as you can.

Without that all the rest about stars etc. are impossible.

This. Get rid of Anderson, 18M waste of space. Even the most die hard Anderson fanatics like @YOLO can not defend Mr. Brickderson. The dude's a an injury prone mental midget. Came off the bench and hit 0-6, his "gravity" and "spacing" can suck a dick.

The Rockets need to hope other stars around the league want to join forces with Harden.

The Warriors have ruined the NBA for me.

Find scrappy players like Luis Scola, Shane Battier, and Chuck Hayes. Guys who have heart and will lay it all out on the floor. A big and a second star would be nice also :)

Cleveland and the Miami Heat before them. A lot of good players are wasting their prime years knowing they will never win anything as long as these super teams are around

Some of these answers overlap, like Blake Griffin or DeMarcus Cousins works for the star option and big man who can post up and kick out

Looking at the upcomoing free agency list... we'll have some options. Not hearing anything right now really, wonder who the Rockets will chase or if they've been linked to anybody. Blake Griffin looks like an interesting option if he opts out. Other solid upgrades, but with the salary cap explosion there have been some crazy contracts. Interested to see what route Morey takes.

I'm a big Ryno fan, but pretty impossible to say he's worth the money he's getting. His 3-point percentage on the year was pretty good, but he often looked uncomfortable and out of rhythm, he had some moments but I was fairly disappointed with his production on the year.

Will be tough to trade his contract, but Morey is pretty good at finding fleece deals like this.

Getting a post-up big man would be a step in the wrong direction. They have established the team identity, now it is time to plug in the guys D'Antoni needs.

lol at this point...Melo might be the most realistic option. Harden and Melo surrounded by a bunch of high energy 3 and D guys like Bev, Ariza, Iggy? Sefelosha? PJ Tucker? Tony Allen..

Warriors bout to lose Iggy and Livingston in order to keep Durant and Curry...bring them and their winning culture in...

Man he's not just replaceable he needs to be replaced. If he was making 6M a year then yeah he's ok every other game or w/e but at 18M we can't afford a guy who "goes off"for 13 pts one night on the road then 0 pts the next at home wtf.

Harden's not exactly Kobe or MJ, its obvious he lacks mental toughness. But he is still an all world talent. Not all franchise players need to have a heart of steel I mean look at Lebron. However we need to surround Harden with good players with a lot of heart and a lot of game. Anderson's as soft as tissue paper out there, he'll just make Harden play worse.

I like the idea of using Ryno more as a backup C which means we need to get another combo 3/4 wing who can shoot the 3 that can run in transition. Harden also needs to play fewer minutes in the regular season and we need to ramp up the offensive pace more. One positive note is that it looks like Clint Capela might be an absolute gem. It's really tough to win championships and we would have gotten obliterated by the Warriors anyway.

    before this game - a 2nd option
after this game - trade harden and/or ryan

who's gonna compete with gsw or cavs? why try this **** again with harden when he pulls this ****? he just proved he's not atrue superstar. i dunno wtf he is, its rare to see that much talent go to waste.

harden and ryan will get a lot of taletn in return. dont need to rebuild, just retool. can still be a 2nd roudn team and even make a wcf once if we get players who play with heart and dont give up easy. let the 2 big dogs fight each other for rings while we find the next superstar. morey's good at finding talent.
