it's like you guys have never played basketball before in your lives. I know Mike played basketball so he should understand. if you're telling me I have to guard guys with huge advantages over me on offense and the boards when there's a guy on the bench who can do that and I have to focus on offense and create everything? I would quit in a heartbeat

Us Rockets fans got spoiled during the Hakeem years. Look at all the potential franchise player we have suffered through since. Francis (no brain) Yao (injury prone) McGrady ( no heart/ injury prone) Dwight ( no heart) and now Harden ( no heart). Management really needs to start evaluating talent that comes in.

If that were the case then Harden needs to let D'Antoni know that.

any basketball player understands this bro. Playing in the paint is not for chumps. I would take the challenge if I didn't have to create all the offense. You can't do both no player can.

Ironically the Rockets were once on the verge of trading Dream because they thought he was faking an injury. Thankfully he and the organization got past that episode. We'll see if Harden can ever grow the F up or if quitting in the postseason is his MO.

If he choked and played like this in the playoffs, then HELL YEAH. Hakeem played hard every game and is in the conversation as the best defensive player ever. Can you say the same for Harden? Trade this loser please.

I think when the score was 7 to 14 mike needed to call the timeout and make the adjustment and play harrell. guys have too much pride to admit they are outmatched, but it's the coaches job to make the adjustment. It's clear as day what's happening and he didn't want to do it. Offense be damned we needed rebounds and stops. We only managed 75 points anyways. Think harden would've been better off if he could just focus on the offense instead of every single aspect of the game from D, rebounding, shooting, scoring, driving, and playmaking.

Imo, we'll be lucky if a guy like Gallo (which is a good player btw) will sign here, don't think we stand a chance with Hayward, CP3...they will sign eventually with Boston, San Antonio...maybe we'll have a chance with Cousins or George next year.

at the end of the game, it comes down to this. The Spurs did not have to create anything. Their match up advantage was just there. Staring them in the face. All they had to do was post up their big guys on guards and get rebounds. wear out the other teams only playmaker by making him guard the post and fight for rebounds. they also pressured him when he brought it up. After getting exhausted they pressured him. They dictated the pace and they wore him out.

meanwhile the Rockets had to create every single opportunity to get a score, after fighting for 10 minutes to get a rebound or stop.

every single fourth quarter was lost because of this.

Dream was more like 29 (born jan 63 and changed his game going into the 92/93 season). Harden turns 28 this summer. So.. Yea. Not that big of a difference.

Calling for a trade. I don't know. I would not insult dream by comparing him to Harden. Dream had something in his chest that thumped and pumped blood. Tonight I am shocked Harden wasn't on a heart bypass machine cause his heart sure as hell was not in his chest.
