ESPN is treating this worse than Curry choking a 3-1 lead in the finals

It is worse. Those games were very close and Curry was still doing other stuff despite going cold from the field.

 

Good. no defending James Harden. This series was on a platter and he didn't want to eat.

Media was waiting. I hope they tear him to shreds.

Media was already trying to scrub away his legacy. Harden is letting them do it with his play on the court.

There is way too much "Give up" in Harden..

 

That's because ESPN had LeBron to talk about. And the fact that he delivered a title to Cleveland after like, 50 years of no titles from any of its sports.

Sunday is game 1 of the WCF. You can bet ESPN is going to be crapping all over the Rockets for the next 1 1/2 days.

Funny thing is Rockets/Harden choked in Game 5 and then followed it up with a Quit

 

at least the cavs had their best players playing.

 

There's a difference between choking vs playing like a D-league scrub.

 

This IS worse. The Warriors as a team blew a 3-1 lead. That's bad, but we're dealing with a supposed MVP candidate not even showing up for an elimination game. And that's following a choke job in Game 5. Instead of coming out and atoning for his poor play on Tuesday, Harden didn't even bother trying tonight. Seriously, when's the last time that happened in the NBA? Maybe Kobe's Game 7 in 2006?

 

It's been 3 days since Harden gave up in game 6?

 

Harden deserves every bit of criticism he gets after this game.

He literally didn't attempt a field goal until 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter... in the biggest game of the year.

 

Stephen A is demanding an investigation. Thinks Harden was drugged.

 

Best thing about this game is that James Harden has been officially exposed as a quitter, choker and loser. No more excuses.

 

this was 1 of the most inexplicable games from a superstar I have ever seen

only Harden having surgery tomorrow or news coming out that he had just suffered some family tragedy right before the game can explain this away

What did u expect? The Spurs didn't even have Kawhi! He didn't even shoot the rock 1 time in the 1st quarter. He was careless with the ball and casual on the court. He was passing up shots. He was not being aggressive. He only took 11 shots, and of course 9 of them were from 3 where he continued his season long brickfest from downtown. The media getting on him is to be expected and is warranted.

 

Harden **** the bed tonight. Even the most devout Harden fans need to come to terms with that.

No matter how skilled a player is, there is no substitute for heart. Harden and the Rockets looked dead on arrival tonight and there is no excuse for that.

As much as we like to rail on Tmac for what happened to us in game 7 against the Mavs in 2005, this performance was worse. It will be hard to get over this one. Hopefully, this won't linger over Hardens career.

 

He deserves all the scrutiny.

 

I want harden to go to some remote monastery in Nepal and come back with a shaved face and new outlook of the world.

He needs to show up to the temple with nothing but a basketball and the clothes on his back

James has immense talent and the burden we've placed on him isn't fair , but he needs to mature .

He needs to fight yeti's for his life and train by carrying buckets of water up a mountain . He needs to learn deep breathing techniques so he doesn't get tired and he needs to practice catching monkeys so he has agility on defense

He needs to show up for training camp after going completely off the grid and grab dantoni by the nuts and tell him ," sup b****."
