Need another big piece to add and take pressure off Hardens shoulders but zero excuse for this elimination game lackluster effort at home against a depleted Spurs team.
You mean dump it into Hakeem and stand around the arch looking for a three-pointer. That wasn't team basketball. Not on the offensive side anyway.
Thankfully that team didn't have to worry about teams like the Warriors or whatever team happened to have LeBron James at the time.
Well, dumping it into Hakeem was clearly better than dumping it in Harden's hands in the last two minutes of the game
Impossible to think of this as a good year, because of the way it ended. In 1992 the Houston Oilers had a 10-6 regular season record. You might say good year. But then, the Oilers blew a 35-3 lead in the playoffs against the Bills. I will always think of that as a terrible year.
D'Antoni and Harden needs to spend the summer together There needs to be a new focus . . . NO TURNOVERS Walking into this year . . . . D'Antoni tasked Harden with being a great point guard He focused on distributing and scoring I think next year we need him to focus on Turnovers and Defense I think we need to cut his minutes. Rocket River
Good year but this blowout quitting leaves a sour taste in everyone's mouth All the good of the regular season does not mean much right now
We got a good thing going, exceeded expectations, as others have said. Remember this is the first season this group have been together, you don't build a championship team overnight. Next season will be even better.
This season is like hook up with the best looking girl at the bar... but she is turns out to be a he. Felt right while it was happening but there is something just wrong. Mad / Silly / memorial / in time even funny. Don't want it to ever do it again.
Assuming you mean three's and layups...there is nothing wrong with incorporating a mid range game. Get a really good 4 and someone who can handle the offense on point and the team should be better next year.
I stood and clapped with all my heart, even after getting blown out. One game doesn't change the 90+ I already watched this year. This hurt, it hurts, I'm not happy, I'm sad, I'm mad, I'm dissapointed and many other things. But the one thing over everything else, I'm proud of this team, I'm proud of our season and I'm proud how we fought throughout the year. We fell short. We looked horrible at the end of the season. But I stand tall and love my team. It was a great season to build on. Looking forward to what the future has in store. Go Rockets 17-18
Hmm.. where have I heard this one before? Oh right, D'antoni-Nash teams. "it was still a good year" followed by disappointment in the playoffs every time.
