This is definitely preferable. A buzzer beater or something like Game 5 is much more soul crushing. At least people can laugh at this after the anger.

 

This is the norm for Harden. Wow talk about embarrassing and humiliating. And on our home court.

 

I really don't care how outmatched they are. You still have to play the games. All I wanted was an opportunity. All you need is an opportunity to upend the system. You have to want that **** no matter what.

Dantoni will likely chalk this game up to ehhh we missed shots and the defense has to be better .... All while ignoring that the Spurs wore us down inside and the only people with enough balls to try and make plays were (Trevor Dekker and Clint .... And none of those guys have the skills to do that in the face of the Spurs defense )

The game is staged with owners agreeing to end the series. It's how business works.

 

Usually you can take something away from a bad game....I don't see anything...I mean anything to take away. The EFFORT was laughable. They should give the fans their money back and forfeit their paychecks for this game. I'm not trying to be funny. I can handle anything but quit and we QUIT. When the horn sounded in Game 5, we quit. We have to show Ariza, Anderson and a couple of others the door.

 

Man, I was sauing that before this game...

But to lose to the Spurs with Kawhi at home in an elimination game sort of ruins that.

Had we lost game 7 exactly this way, even without Kawhi...you can still say "They just ran out of gas, gave it their all."

One good thing about this is that Harden will be labeled a choker. He needs to see basketball shrink. I seriously suggest he talks to Kobe. I'm being dead serious here. He needs to change his approach to these games.

What kills me is that Harden didn't even go down swinging. No shot attempts in the 1st quarter? He looked so passive, and was passing up shots left and right. He was jogging up the court and looking casual. I though the last game was painful, but this? Only a chip could erase this.
