Not to be argumentative, but you have the luxury of saying "who cares if they're tired" because you're not the one out there exerting. It's not easy and you ought to acknowledge and respect the human element.

Harden has only had 1 bad game this series.. Kawhi's effect has been minimal on Harden

 

My biggest fear. I hope the Rockets don't feel they won't need full intensity. Looks nice on the surface.

The one good thing is that I think Leonard gets more leeway from the refs so calls may not be as lopsided toward SA.

 

Haha yea they said he held Harden to a couple pedestrian games. James has been torching this team.

With kawhi out I'm fully prepared for the rockets to have an abysmal shooting night where they lose anyway.

The Rockets know that this is it, an L tonight means the season is over. I expect them to come out fired up and back in SA for a game 7 on Sunday. This team isn't last year's mentally weak squad.

 

All they did was went from the big showing to playing ICE defense. It's just mixing it up. We've seen both all year. It's just a matter of execution for the defense. The vid even show how open Ariza was on the ICE defense. In both styles of defense, poor execution looks bad and good execution looks like it solved something.

But they both have advantages and weaknesses. Btw you can reset the screen on ICE defense too, just like the early plays in that vid.

I guess I'm a boring when I describe plays, because I rarely attribute them to some undiscovered adjustment that other teams never thought of....lulz, it's just ICE defense.

Pops was just mixing it up, probably planned to mix it up before the opening tip.

 

I agree. That's what gave me hope even before Kawhi's injury.

Still...i can't stop thinking the we had last game and we could've had a chance to close the series tonight at home with Kawhi out...smdh...

 

I'm with u bro. That game 5 just kills me, it's right up there with game 6 against Portland. I have no doubt we'd be closing them out tonight in 6 if we had won. A game 7 in SA will be incredibly tough.
