    Keys to the game:

    - Does the league want a Spurs/Rockets Game 7? If so, we're already on a good track and will get the benefit of calls
    - Do the (Ryan) Andersons have tickets to the game? He finally made some 3s at home in Game 4, hopefully that trend will continue
    - Besides Ryno, Gordon and Lou have to make a decent % of threes. They went 1-12 combined in Game 5 and that's really what killed us, more than Harden melting down
    - Harden cannot attempt double-digit 3s again, since that'll imply he's settling too much and we'll have too many bad offensive possessions
    - Aldridge can't go off on us like he's with Portland again

Rockets looked relaxed at shootaround. Good sign.

No more sticky ball, maintain an advantageous pace, and defend with effort.

Anyone notice how Wiz/Celtics game 1 was last Sunday, yet they just played game 5 yesterday? While we're about to play game 6 today.

Realistically it should work in our favor, as we are younger, but the Parker injury & Simmons straight ballin' out has been our downfall.

I say we put in Harrell for 10-15 mins, out of the guys we have available, he's the only that's even comparable to Capela as the PnR Roll Man

Source (PnR Rollman Regular Season Stats)

Edit: To add onto that, here are the (Play type: Cut) Regular season stats, where he actually ranks in the highest percentile amongst our big men

I don't disagree here. We are playing for the honor of being gsw's prison prom date. But it would be nice to get past the spurs. I think we should be able to beat them and are underperforming.

I just want to see them box out and fight and hustle for rebounds the whole game. San Antonio had 18 offensive boards last game vs our 9. Aldridge himself had 9. Somebody needs to do something about that. Just one or two more second-chance opportunities, and we'd be up 3-2 in the series.

I don't think I can make a new thread but I'm trying to give away a Yao jersey I have for free. It's a replica jersey, current color scheme, size XL. I've had it for over 10 years and haven't worn it once. If I have to ship, I'd ask for you to send me the shipping cost. I just wanted to give it to a Rockets fan instead of Goodwill or whatever.

If someone is near Tallahassee, FL, I can just meet you somewhere and let you have it.

    Really?

They are a perennial 60 win team... They know what they're doing and have a long term system in place.
We are 1 year past being a total shambles, have rebuilt and have something nice starting up here. But injuries are cruel - we've lost one of our 2 viable bigs against a team that has a serious size advantage to start with!

If we lose 4-2 I'll be proud of the guys that we put up a good fight and took a game in San Antonio.
Of course I hope we win, and I think we CAN - but they are the better team, and have been for a long time now.

This game will say a lot about this team. It can't get much more deflating than losing a huge game knowing you should have won it, and could have been possibly ending the series tonight.

I'm interested to see what energy this team brings, especially Harden. He's been pretty much torn to pieces by the media and fans the past few days. Time will tell. Is it the end of our season, or do the Rockets live for a game 7.

Can't afford to relax at all. We saw what happened in the 4th and overtime in game 5. Need to destroy them, and get ready for game 7.

This article actually addresses just about every point I was concerned about. So be it. Sounds like the players are all fine and coach will rest them when necessary.

On a side note I'm glad to read MDA logically explained why Dekker and Harrell aren't playing.

We will all just see what happens tonight.

We have to capitalize with Leonard being out. This is our chance to gain momentum by winning game 6 and heading to San Antonio for game 7.

We have to take this golden opportunity. Let's go Rockets!!!
