Don't worry, he won't be making them for much longer...

Also, who cares if you can or can't make threads? I've noticed, 99% of the time that I want to make one, someone else has already made one addressing the exact issues I wanted to raise, or similar enough ones that I can tie my issues into another thread. It eliminates redundancy and gives my thoughts a more meaningful chance of being seen. But hey, whatever.

silly thread but there is some truth about his perception and it's a shame that he's not appreciated in the moment like other greats were. he will have to wait until he retires before the masses realize how special he was. it will be better late than never but I won't make that mistake.

Hey y'all I watched ESPNz all day and harden has not retired yet? Is he waiting until right before the game so pop doesn't have time to game plan for it? Maybe kawhi would retire as well?

the new narrative by the sports media and fans that puts harden in a no win situation

Harden either chokes and loses this series againist an injured kawhi( i find it strange kawhi gets injured in a game where harden was having his best game of the series)

second narrative.. Kawhi comes back injured and beats the rockets "injured", never mind the fact harden plays through WAY worse injuries all the time. The narrative will be kawhi gutted it out injured and beat harden injured, and that will launch his mvp campaign for next year( and thus end hardens hopes of ever winning mvp. Kawhi is not better than Harden, just more popular( same as curry and westbrook)

This is why Harden should retire. Make 30 million per year playing on a weak basketball club overseas making 35 million a year

makes no sense for kawhi to retire. The media actually gives him credit for his accomplishments

With Harden, its oh "but that dantoni system", like harden hasnt reached the wcf with pablo prigino as his starting pg and kevin mchale as his head coach before.

The spurs are 7-1 without kawhi, why doesnt the media ever bring that up. If that was Harden we already know time it would be

So harden reached the wcf with progioni as his pg, therefore he should retire? That's genius

Well idk what OP is trying to say but one thing that he is right about is that his fans are terrible, probably just as bad as the media.

Harden took on two huge roles (from six man to number one option, from SG to PG) & he has led us to 5 straight playoffs. We went from a perennial 14th pick team to a consistent playoff team. If this first statement doesn't resound in your head, stop reading.

The "all I want is effort" posters can seriously go **** themselves, go hang out with Lowry or Scola (effort guys) on the couch or with Kevin Martin in Ohio or something.

This is team is relevant not because of McHale, not because Dwight, or Ariza or Lin or Gordon or D'Antoni. This team is relevant because of James Harden.

Just like every player, he has his faults, can he improve on certain things? Of course. it's a forum, no one's saying we can't site his faults but we should do so with the understanding that Harden saved this franchise from mediocrity. He is the best player we've had since Hakeem, he's given his loyalty to this team, does it annoy you that he walks the ball up sometimes? Get ****ing over it. That's the type of player he is, if you want a guy that runs it up on every possession go cheer for OKC (they're at home too).

The fact that I have to post this, the fact that the GARM is flooded for hate for this guy, the fact that posters like iso, joomba, swwy (& all the other poster that are happier when Harden has a a bad game, than when we win) even exist is an embarrassment.

The "every fan base trashes their superstar" can also go **** themselves. Your excuse is that everyone's an idiot so you posting "**** you harden you lazy bum" (actual post) is ethically fine.

If you fall under any of these categories, i'm not telling you to stop posting or to delete your account or that you should be banned. I'm telling you that you're a piece of **** fan & that actual Rockets fans who appreciate Harden & this team, collectively hate you.
