He's right, though. Capela played most of the minutes Nene would have played. How does losing Nene make Harden more tired?

I think the "tired" excuse is a little...well...tired.

I put the extra load/fatigue on the fact Harden has to "bang in the post" defensively with Aldridge & Gasol. Now, contrast that with guarding Green or even Roberson in the 1st round. Harden could conserve his energy.

Harden is used to playing the minutes he is playing. But NOT USED to playing the minutes AND guarding post players all game long.

He just has to re-calibrate a bit.

Coach is right, every possession in the playoffs counts towards winning and losing and having the best guys out there during those possessions maximizes our success. I think the 7 guys is more of a depth issue and guys not admitting they are tired. (Harden, Trevor, Beverley especially.)

It's either him guard the post or chase guys like Patty Mills around screens, in which we KNOW he doesn't want to do. You guys need to stop making excuses for Harden's sloppy turnovers. He's a superstar in his prime. He was NOT tired enough to turn the ball over 3 times in overtime. The real problem is his history of sloppy turnovers in crucial moments. This has been happening way before MDA's 7-man rotation got here

Harden is going to have to defend a big guy just by the nature of the matchups and that's what SA is going to try and exploit, the same way Aldridge ends up guarding Harden on the other end. And to be honest, that's our only hope of getting something out of James on the defensive side of the ball.

The 7 man rotation was ridiculous and it cost us the game. I can't complain about much that he has done this season as a coach, but that was a very poor coaching decision and it contributed to a loss in the most important game of the season. Hopefully he has learned his lesson!

my feeling completely as well. i snickered at his hiring, but haven't faulted pringles for much of anything since then. up until game 5. harden choked, lou went cold again, guys didn't make shots, sperms did make shots, and the refs fuked us again. but the single largest reason we lost that game falls on pringles 7man rotation. it was clear as day our guys were tired by the 4th Q, stopped playing with energy, and most importantly stopped pushing the pace. 7man rotation coupled with smallball where guys have to battle against much bigger opponents......was and is just plain stupid.

It's one thing to make a mistake or misjudgment - and quite another to refuse to admit or correct it...

Losing respect for Mike on this one... it was clearly evident to most anyone watching the game that guys were gassed...

Of course Mike has a rep for running guys into the ground... and the practice has been so successful... just look at the all championships he has to show for it... smh...

oh and as for complaining about 'the critics'... sorry Mike, we're just the folks that pay for the tickets, buy the jerseys and help drive those big lucrative tv contracts - from which you get paid... but nevermind our feeble little minds and concerns... again smh...

Further, whats up with this quote...

    “We kicked away game (5)”

So is he throwing Gordon under the bus based on the one ball that he kicked off his heel? Really? What an asshat... smh...
