Yes, he did pass it to Gordon but you have to admit those two turnovers were crucial in such an important time. He's also held the ball too long and settled for 3s. I mean he is the point guard and the offensive sets in OT were horrible. With that being said, his teammates also could've done better with their screens and cuts.
Yeah sure, I mentioned in the previous post that Harden blew it in OT, but in the late minute and a half he was quite unselfish, which was my point. He knew he was blowing it, so in crunch he deferred to his teammates
Don't hate Harden as a player. Never have. He's easily a top 5 player in the Association and has the ability to lead a team to a championship. But he's got to accept the help he needs to win a title. Harden cannot and will not win a championship while bring both the primary scorer and sole initiator when he is on the floor. He'll have to share playmaking duties to win a title.
Why do you keep talking like it was Harden's decision to be primary ball handler? There's countless articles/reports/etc that states that Dantoni wanted Harden to be PG before the start of the season...
Premium 1st thread. I agree and am thankful the Rockets have someone like Harden. He has his flaws, but he has a huge ceiling. There is hope. I still remember the "mediocrity treadmill days" where the team's potential was capped and there was nowhere to turn. That's frustration. And then to think, a couple years removed from that, the team has an MVP caliber player? Very lucky. Please post more.
