Until Harden FULLY commits, we are not going to win anything - he has got to commit to running the ball up the court and it not getting sticky. Look at the Spurs, and who hit their shots late, a team effort will overcome an individual effort more often than not. Harden has a ways to go to totally trust his teamates, I want one to stand up and tell him to STFU when he makes the turnover and blames others....he needs to be accountable...... Tonight, as good as he was in the first half, he was that awful in the 2nd 1-6 late, with 0-5 in 3pters and 4 turnovers....terrible. DD
Look, this team relies on 3s and pace, even if Ariza or Anderson putting up 30 feet well guarded 3s and missed all of it and we lose, I can live with it. This is the way we played. and THIS IS NOT THE WAY WE PLAYED.
its dantoni's fault. he's so stubborn with a short rotation. the players were too tired to run around and get open, so we all just watched harden dribble into double teams, dribbling around like he's kobe bryant or something. i'm so pissed. James just needs to be the man, even it hurts his team. why the hell does he dribble into double teams, knowing the outcome? driblle, dribble, dribble, they shoulda had eric gordon run around screens more to be the secondary facilitor, and then have harden run around to get open. what a waste of my time and money watching this r****ded iso crap.
Harden was horrible. Can't play Defense and can't run the offense because he's in bad shape. This lose is on Harden. THe dude GAVE the game away, literally. 9 turnovers. 3 in OT and didn't do crap but hold the ball till time ran out. He's playing like last year Harden again, no defense and holding the ball with 5 seconds left
James deserves every ounce of criticism...This was yet another "close" game this season against the Spurs when James reverted to bad old habits. Its like he doesn't care to do something till the last 7 seconds of a 24 sec clock. That is not basketball, and Mike has to call James out for that. Once again...I want to reiterate that the NBA wanted this series to go 7...we will be back in San Antonio, and Kawhi wont play in game 6 IMO...Its just a Pop thing to do. Hell of a block by Manu...and Harden played like a$$ down the stretch and OT...
I can't get over how bad he was in winning time. Just cant.. it's surreal.. It's like he was throwing the game it was so bad. I just think of all the opportunities he had to ice the game.. what a choke.. my gawd..
How long before we hear that he had a cold or hurt his ankle? Always seems to be an excuse such as that when he has a bad performance.
Harden is a Robin, not a Batman on a real contender. He will keep the Rox relevant which is better than not being relevant but don't expect him to take a team on his back and lead them to real contention.
The Rockets offense has been bad in late game situations this season, sure. It has never once been as bad as it was tonight. Never once.
This could've been a terrific game for him, W in San Antonio with a triple double, outplaying Kawhi...and then...i don't even know what happened in ot, he was embarassing, he just thrown away one of the biggest wins in his career.
