That really sucked. I don't know what happened with our offense in the OT. We didn't do anything resembling a play for the first 3 minutes of overtime. I will say that the Rockets shouldn't blame the loss on officiating but it seemed incredibly lopsided tonight. It was ticking me off during the game, but looking back over it now, I'm not at all happy about it.

 

Does Harden know that the more time the shot clock runs out the easier you are to defend?

 

Harden wilted under the bright lights and pressure tonight. Point blank period.

Gotta get em in game six now.

 

Harden isn't a champion's player

 

yeah i knida forgot how bad we has in the 3rd quarter. brillaint first half, ok first half of the 4th quarter. one of the worst last 7 minutes you can ever play. just offensive fouls and turnovers. i've never seen a player who gets on a roll with turnovers and JUST. CAN'T. STOP. no one turns 1 turnover into 4 turnovers in a row worse than harden!

 

ZERO ball movement when it mattered most...Harden goes into isolation and drains the clock when the clock didn't need draining and MISSES...WTF IS THAT?

 

Harden was out there playing goofy as hell. Why did you hold the ball 10 straight possessions and try to play ball with 5 sec on the shot clock?

Go rewatch the last 10 mins of the game, Clint tried to set pick for him, harden just wouldn't move. He just held the ball for too long

 

If you want a recap of the game here it is.

1. First half- Played inspired basketball despite refs.Kept doing what was needed.Bench played decently could have been better.
2. Second half- Found a way to not lose despite having cold stretch and terrible refs.In the fourth the spurs had a cold stretch i believe the rockets should have put harden in.
   
3. Overtime-Miscues, mistakes, fatigue, spurs magic and bs. The rockets had to have been tired they looked like a ****ing d league offense.Harden called for screens and for some reason we didn't get one.Also, we just held the ball till there were 8 ****ing seconds left on the shot clock. Pitiful time management, coaching, and leadership.I haven't seen something that bad since last year.

To wrap it up coach should have played Dekker and maybe another big you just can't use 7 bodies.I feel like this is the game that may have broken the rockets mindsets.All the world against you and to fall short because they couldn't execute.Nobody else, not even the other teams star just you and a chance to go back home with a win and they just gave it away.Nobody to blame but themselves and I can't stress that point enough. Against the team above the rockets spurs, warriors,cavs you wait for the chance to take the game and we failed

Every other fanbase hates this guy, no such thing as a Harden Only Fan.

 

Yeah and I can't watch it. (Game 7) Maybe listen to 2nd half on radio. Got hours of windshield time. Thx Houston Rockets.

 

*shrug* Like I said to my wife in OT, if you can't beat the Spurs while Kawhi is sitting on the bench, you don't deserve to win.

And like that other game, it's hard to win when your main bench guys aren't doing their thing and making shots. Do Lou do anything at all in this game? I can't remember... Too many missed wide open shots.

 

Not only did I believe they were a contender, I still do. Get your weak, giving up attitude out of here.

Lack of an inside game hurt the Rockets, which is why I miss Nene.

I feel as if we have the SF and PF covered for now.

If I were the GM, I would pick up a good defensive center.

We don't need a center who scores a lot, since we have enough scoring already.

Salah Mejri, Ian Mahinmi or DeAndre Jordan would be nice picks, as they have among the highest defensive ratings in the NBA.

 

I present to you James Harden game 5 against the Warriors with 13 motha****ing turnovers like he was throwing the game just like this game. The man can be bought and seems like he was.

I don't think harden should bring it up at the end of the game when he is that tired
