I know Capela ain't perfect but wow man. Capela has been an elite defender for what the Rockets have through out this season. Shame on you mofo.
right. the 3s were landing. i've been saying this....they got through one game without Nene. sooo...championship? what happens when they don't hit 3s? like game 2 and 3? Just you know, lose and don't change anything? They got by one game, in the heat of battle. What now? Nene plays what, 20 something minutes a game...those minutes don't just disappear. SOMEONE must play them. Who?
James has given a professional effort on defense this year. He's never going to be Shane Battier but we've seen him be a competent post defender. Unless he's even remotely close to foul trouble and it's been ole d... I think in spots that's something we can live with but to just play an entire segment of the game with Harden covering LA? Probably favors Aldridge and puts James in foul trouble.
exaggeration right there. what happens when they don't hit 3s? which is what about 50% of what they do. its common sense what may happen but that doesn't change anything. You do what you do that has gotten you to this point all year. The system doesnt change. You keep doing the things that yielded positive results. Doing the exact opposite is just terrible decision making and not something you do in the quarterfinals of game 5
yeah, exaggeration. it was a joke lol... jeezus I'm not changing anything they do. Trying to keep it intact actually. A big that can roll to the rim or protect it on the other end. Just a different guy, not a different system. Playing small ball for 20 extra minutes a game is more of a change than letting Onuaku soak up some time.
He is 20. Once he is 22, like Clint, he will be ready to get in there and bang. He has a really nice feel for some very unique things at his position. I think it's his brain that needs to catch up with his body.
I think Chinanu may surprise the Spurs. On a good night he can spark the run with couple of blocks and a dunk.
Wow, I think me and probably a few of you were just assuming Harrell would step in for a few minutes. We were debating what the next step was lol...I think most of us could agree a 7 man rotation is a large part of last night's defeat. Maybe it's not Onuaku but Harrell and Dekker have to come in to provide energy and some rest early in the game. Geez....
