I'd prefer for them to get swept in embarrassing fashion...increases the chance of Hayward coming to Houston

He's not going to Houston. Gordon Hayward was born to only possibly play for 2 franchises - Utah or Boston.

You think Hayward might be able to "gut out" another 5 years in Utah if it meant an extra $50 million guaranteed? I do.

I can also see him re-signing for one year (i.e, a two-year opt out) and getting a $200+ million mega-deal from the Jazz next summer.

after what KD just did and Wade actually leaving Miami I refuse to act like I know where a player will go or what a player will do

    the unexpected can happen

This Jazz team would have swept the Raptors.

He's 27 and that's his one chance to get the super mega deal.

Yeah but Boston (let's say) might be an option this summer, and not the next one, in the end, if he feels like it's time to go, he'll go now imo.

Why do the refs give warriors so many calls?

How does Durant get away with a carry every single dribbling possession? His palm is under the ball every second or third dribble...

This isn't a Durant thing, this is an NBA thing. When is the last time you saw a carry called?

If other players are carrying, they don't make it nearly as obvious as Durant does. When you can take two or three stutter steps before you set up for your crossover... you would think it is pretty obvious.

If he's really dead set on playing for the Celtics (or Brad Stevens), maybe, but there is no evidence of that.

Despite this sweep, Jazz are better than everyone in the East other than Cavaliers. Agree?

Other than the Cavs, Portland was better than everyone in the east. They are basically the Wizards with a better home crowd.
