I think it's painfully obvious at the moment that this team's main offseason goals should be adding quality front court bigs. And as you said, the Rockets are tied 2-2 in the Conference Semis. This topic is neither here nor there.
Is this a joke? Gay is a worse 3 point shooter, and a worse defender than Ariza. He is NOT an "instant upgrade." Also, Ariza's leadership is insanely valuable. How many times has Gay even made the playoffs?
Didn't we already get rid of Michael Beasley? I don't think we need the poor man's version of him coming off an injury.
Gay is also coming off a torn Achilles...if he's willing to accept a bench role and come here for peanuts then I'd think about it, but if not then I'd Harden bounce pass on him
Pretty wild move there Rudy, I can't see many teams offering him a contract worth more than 14 million yearly.. well maybe the Knicks but he's coming off the Achilles injury so it's doubtful he'll get a great contract. At this point, I'd rather go for another F/C. With Nene out we're pretty lacking in that position.
