What's likelihood of Nene coming back this series, we really need him

 

should D'Antoni try to put Brown in the game when Lou cannot score?!

 

Yeah i agree, Lou is slow and bad on defense, if he's not making shots you pay having him on the floor, like Ryan, that's why Gordon is just a better player, dude is palying really solid defense...anyway, while i do agree with you like i said, i still kinda like the idea of keeping him out there cause the Spurs have two great defenders (Kawhi and Green), but we have Harden, Gordon, Lou and other guys who can somehow score or drive like Pat, Ariza, Ryan...if (which is obviously a big if) they're all scoring at a decent to good rate, they cannot guard everybody...we just need to move the ball, run and yeah, shoot well enough lol

What a difference it makes when Harden isn't taking 28 shots in a game. Tonight it was great to see more ball movement, and our better 3 pt shooters taking more of the shots from behind the arc. Let's hope Nene will be able to play next game, but if not then I hope Onuaku suits up. I don't know why he and Wiltjer were in street clothes tonight. I guess coach likes Taylor and Troy better now, but that might change next game if Nene is out. Hats off to Bobby Brown for scoring 11 pts in 6 minutes. My condolences to Bev with the loss of his grandfather.

This is the way I was hoping we would adjust tonight. This is our style of game. Let's do this Houston. Go Rockets!!!! Win big in San Antonio, then let's close this thing out at home.

 

If he went to the Hospital as reported, he is probably out for at least 2 weeks, based upon others with groin injuries.....

Usually something like 2-4 weeks to heal.

Its most likely a tear and it is not healing anytime soon.

 

So he'll be back in time for the Finals.

Thank goodness our bench came through for us tonight. Great game for the Rockets.

I've been watching our defense. On the perimeter, our guys are really good at knowing when to switch, fight through screens, go under screens (not perfect, but still pretty good) etc. On the interior when one of our defenders switches looking to help, the other defenders almost never switch and instead watch the play. Maybe it's to see if they will be starting a break opportunity because of a block or something else. But it leads to too many second chance points, and point blank baskets for the other team.

Great for the Rockets to get a win for Patrick Beverley tonight. That's really all that needs to be said. Good to get a win. I hope Nene is okay.
