They need to do something with Fiers maybe the bullpen I don't know anything to get him out of the starting rotation when McHugh gets back

Honestly, I think Fiers would suck equally coming out of the bullpen. Can't give up HR like this. I think it's time to part ways with him.

Maybe he just wanted to get it out of the way early in the game?

    I cannot explain Mike Fiers.

ETA: leadoff hitters are now 10-23 with 8 HRs and 4 BBs against Mike Fiers.

At least I bought good beer.

Yeah. Wouldn't be surprised if he's cut like the guy he got traded with, Gomer.

I feel like we lead the league in missed catches in foul territory.

Is there a record in MLB where a starting pitcher gives up a HR in every start?

Mike Fiers is on pace to allow 100+ HRs in under 200 IP this year.

I couldn't agree more ! I suggest the bullpen just to put him somewhere similar to a closet where you can never take him out if you don't want to. I think they just thank him for his services sorta like they did Gomez and say goodbye

Fiers pitching with Gattis catching is just asking for trouble.

This is why the Astros are always having to come back. Puts a lot of pressure on the offense in the long run. Can't continue to go with both Musgrove and Fiers in the rotation. Gotta give someone else a try soon.

I hope this bad Fiers pitching continues. Quicker the Astros may pull on a trade for a TOR player.

    But broken-down hurt Matt Schaub.
