Agree... Keuchel should of been pulled after second single to start the inning. Left in one hitter too long, in my opinion.
I think Devo because Giles usually doesn't go multiple innings. I'd be fine with Giles if he hadn't already pitched a tough inning.
A culmination of how he's been handled thus far this year. "Left him in too long" -- Indians game. "Took him out too soon"-- A's game. Keuchel is just too damn good for innings 1-8. Makes these decisions pretty dicey.
Well I just turned 30, and my sports fandom peaked when I was 8. So I'd like to tell you it gets better, but sadly... That being said, if there's a franchise in this town that has a shot to break this curse, it might be this one. This Astros team has a feel to it that I haven't seen in Houston since before I hit puberty.
Giles wasn't great in the 9th but he shouldn't be getting the blame... the manager should be ashamed.
