Oh, the Spurs had the Rockets figured out before this series even started - it was just a matter of them executing Pop's strategy. Tonight they let Harden be a scorer but not a facilitator thereby forcing the others (Gordon, Anderson, Williams, Ariza, Beverly) to pick up the slack. Outside of Ariza the others were pretty much held under control by a suffocating SA defense. Come Sunday, they may flip the script and double Harden to force the ball out of his hands. It's called "playoff basketball" and that's why I wanted to see just how D'Antoni's system would fare against a team like a SA - an experienced team that can take away the things that you do best. So far, I haven't seen anything I didn't expect to see from both teams. This series is far from being over although Game 4 on Sunday is most definitely a must win for the Rockets.

Bench Ryno a start Nene to combat Aldridge and Gasol's size. We are getting g murderd down low early in games. The Pelicans knew RFyno is best served as a spark plug. We need to bench him and use him like that.

Rockets franchise is barely more Clutch city than Choke.

Much better than the city's other suck history, so there's that.

I thought the Rockets played hard (mostly) on defense but the inability to draw fouls inside completely demoralized them on offense. Who knew the Spurs' frontline were the reincarnations of Wilt, Russell, and Kareem? I guess the refs did...

Hard to win any games when the strength of the team, the bench, gives you basically nothing at all.

Ryan Anderson's inability to shoot at home would be comical if the team wasn't relying on him so much.

Game 1 was at their full potential where everything was falling for every player on our team.....meanwhile the Spurs were off.....no way we bring the warriors to 7 with the type of offense and defense we've been playing

With the help from the zebras Spurs controlled the flow of the game. Harden himself cannot do it all, Ryno was no show, our entire bench sucked. We need our role players to step up next game. I still think we can beat the Spurs esp after Parker went down.

I should not be forced to watch ESPNs broadcast ever. tnt is bad enough.

I hate the new TV deal. I want root sports when ESPN has the game.
this is what worries me. Both the Spurs and the warriors have good defensive schemes, but the warriors have multiple good defenders (and one great defender as well).

You fix that by making shots. If everyone else is going to pick their asses we're going to get crushed the rest of the way.

    I am ****ING LIVID!

That was the worst coached team in Rockets history, there was no counter at all to San Antonio going big in the paint, no playing charmin soft piece of toilet paper Anderson at the Center spot, no help for Harden at all.

We got outcoached, we got out organizationed, we have NO ****ING business being in this series.

Our team is a joke, a team of front runners meant to shock teams in the regular season, but we have NO CHANCE against GS, SA or Cleveland unless our 3pt shooters get hot and we don't have enough midrange or post when they are covered.

I am PISSED THE **** OFF - because this is 100% an organizational and coaching failure.

20m for Ryan Anderson - you have got to be ****ING KIDDING ME.....Popovich can find a guy on the GOD DAMNED DUNG HEAP OF FLYSVILLE that can produce more than him.

    This was an opportunity lost.

We are done - been exposed - easy to guard now........DONE LIKE DINNER.

I know it's worthless at this point, but this is why getting Horford would've been soo good...stretch 5 who can pass, shoot, score inside, play defense...****ing Celtics

What he said was just read off the stats mainly...and praised the defense.

Popovich blames the players all the time. He did it this game with a sideline reporter saying that was terrible offense,,,and it's called great coaching. He can say that to them, but no reason to say that to a sideline reporter.
