This is gonna be unpopular to say here on the Catty Mills thread, but I actually think he'd make a great addition to our bench. His shooting heatmap shows he'd be additive in every area that we emphasize. He, Lou, and EGo as a bench unit would be crazy. So many combinations between that bench and our current starting 5.

Alas, he will likely go for more than we can offer. Kyle Korver anyone?

I'd totally welcome JJ, but I wasn't sure of price or our cap flexibility. I'm hoping Korver is cheap due to age.

Korver seemed to one dimensional. And he's a pf in our system and that would give us too one-dimensional pf's. No thanx. JJ can at least d up and make the extra pass

    No disagreement there.

I'm thinking Korver given our salary cap constraints, BUT Les has always said he'd dish the dough and now would be the time so I get the JJ thing. My main concern is that LAC will try to pay JJ or some other in-the-hunt team will overpay him. Korver on the other hand is older and hasn't seen much pub recently except his injury so I'm hoping teams have forgotten about him. If he can stay near his current salary, then he adds where we want to push the peddle to the metal and can be a backup. And I'm thinking Cavs are not gonna be retaining him because of their own cap situation.

Not to say that some other contending team won't pursue, but I think he's the likelier of the two for us to land.
