Refugee problem, there is no foul and make spurs can use body sticky defence. Another problem is the rebounds. They are not aggressive.

Yep and free throws are definitely a part of the game, and the Rockets need those calls if they are being committed by the other team. I can't apologize to other teams for the Rockets' penchant for drawing fouls. If you are good at drawing fouls....so be it. I have a problem with the officials just "letting them play" to the point where it's as if they're turning a blind eye. Quite frustrating.

Were there missed calls last night? Yes. Is that why we lost? No. Harden has to stop just letting the switch happen every time. His lack of defense ruins rotations and creates mismatches when he settles to guard the post player EVERY TIME due to laziness.

I fully expect us to come back in game 3 but the defense has to be better period

I understand playing hurt, if you're going to play hurt make it count, he played like a b****. The team would've been better served getting treatment on his hip in the locker room rather than the incessant 'dribble, drive, initiate contact, blow the lay up and then scream at the official.' The way he seeks out contact is infuriating because if he just went for the shot instead of soccer flopping at the mere breeze of air generated by a pacing defender he'd probably get the call. Hope he's rested for tomorrow

I don't disagree. One thing we can take solace in is Tony Brothers won't be the ref for at least another couple games. But pretty clear that we'll lose any game he's associated with.

this seems a little hard to believe. Where exactly were you standing when you could see this? or were you watching on TV? if it's on tv I'd like to see that too, my lip reading skills aren't so good . . . maybe you could let me know where in the video that is so I can see it. Also where did you learn to lip read so well? I'd love it if you could point me in the direction of some home study instructional videos on youtube or something so I can get prepared for Game 3.

That tweet fits the media narrative to glorify Kawhi and undermine Harden. But during the game, yes Kawhi was primarily the defender as Harden was bringing the ball up, I didn't see Kawhi much involved during Harden's drives to the rim or even his jump shots. Many of those came after switches or he was up against a Big in the paint (no fouls there either).

It's just obsurd that harden could get a foul called on a patty mills flop, but kawhi who would be guarding arguably the best offensive player in the game, wouldn't get ONE call against him.

It was just the Spurs night. It happens. Rockets have 2 elimination games (3 and 4) to win at home now. They need to take those...no excuses.

Kawhi was pretty impressive tbh. He never reached, just challenged shots

Harden was bad but this was a 5 point game entering the 4th quarter. D'Antoni put in his reliable bench and they completely s*** the bed. By the time Harden was back in the game, it was already a double-digit lead with Spurs having ridiculous momentum.

This is a shot making business and the Rockets attempted 10 more threes than the Spurs but only made 2 more than them.

Harden shouldn't shoot 9 threes with his % not being that great. Ariza/Bev went 1-9 combined and Lou Williams probably had his first legitimately bad playoff game in awhile.

Role players tend to play better at home (unless your name is Ryan Anderson), so I expect the home crowd to energize us and will us to Game 3 and 4 wins.

Tony Parker somehow found Mutombo's fountain of youth so him being out is a massive blow for the Spurs.
