And be completely immobilized if not dead. Skinny people can eat sugar and lard all day and guess what? They are still malnourished and under-performing.

Get this guy on the Clint Capela weight regime NOW. There is no reason this dude should not be an NBA player, outside of his own physicality. Gotta get him aggressive and tough.

Looking back on that draft class, there really weren't.

nobody picked after 43 has cracked a rotation.

If it's true, then it can only be good.
I have my doubts cause it's blurry.

i'm back on the Zhou Qi bandwagon. I saw too much talent in summer league. And actually the person who came to mind was a young KG or an Andre Kirilenko. I'm not trying to overstate how good he is, rather i'm just saying that he flashes talent on that level. If he really works hard and keeps up the intensity, i think we've got someone special.

What's his mobility like? Can he switch or would he be a dinosaur out there?

He has looked much quicker, stronger and more agile this summer. Still, smaller NBA guards will get past him.

It's weird because I feel like he's the only player on the roster who has the potential to surprise us pleasantly in the second half of the season, but I'm also certain he's not ready yet. I wouldn't bet against seeing accelerated development from him this season, similar to Capela's rookie season.

He's a strange player to watch. He's good enough in the paint to actually make guys think twice about even driving in, and he's a decent enough 3-pt threat to at least keep defenses honest. But he has a penchant for making unnecessary fouls and doesn't seem to realize yet that the refs seem to be watching him pretty closely.

I have hopes that he'll maybe make the big team's roster and possibly become a defensive-situation substitute, but I can't say I'm optimistic he'll ever start or even be in the rotation.

I was wrong. He's already become much better than I thought he would be. Big guy has skills and is progressing.

Can he switch...? He's the most versatile 'big' man we have and his length causes havoc.

He still looks lost on offense & defense - won't take shots - doesn't pickup the correct man - at least two more years

Its not about getting bigger or stronger, you can't just keep adding weight to an Asian bodies because the structure is different and eventually they are going to breakdown.

So his game can never be a PF or C, he is going to be an skinny 3-4 and you hope he can develop some good skills. mainly in shooting.

But the key worries on him is not physical, but rather his skill set and basketball IQ.

He is not a good passer, never seen him setting good picks nor rolling efficiently, and even having troubles on grabbing rebounds.

You can change some bad habits, but you can't improve his basketball IQ and skills at this stage.

His future in the NBA looks as good as the red panda halftime show, yes, some people will get excited and scream and yell, but it has no impact whatsoever on the game the Rox will play.
