I was sad with no julia yet again but jj "fat"'s appearance in the booth was pretty good. Musgrove making them look silly. Correa it's time to do away with the demolition man hair style

It was 0-0 in the bottom of the 1st inning, not exactly a high pressure situation.

Minute Maid sounds like an owl stampede every time Reddick appears.

What I mean by high pressure is that game is still close and game not decided yet as opposed to a 7-4 game in the 8th inning. Correa's struggles haven't hurt quite as much with so many better hitters this year but can't expect it to continue with him coming up in so many situation with runners on and he doesn't come through. Cleanup spot is suppose to be a run producing spot.

Ah, another reminder that the Astros pitchers collectively have a damn high HR/FB rate in the early going. 16.2% is good for 3rd worst in the league and is roughly double the A's rate of 8.2% (best rate in the league).

It's a slightly skewed stat, as ground-ball throwing teams tend to have higher HR/FB %'s, but damnit if they're not also just homer prone all-together (given up 6th most HR's in the league heading into today).

At least they've mostly been solo shots recently.

Of course Gurriel gets a hit . Why isn't he batting 4th? Also I'm way more excited to see the middle to bottom half of the lineup than the top half!!

Doesn't look like he touched him. Throw beat him by so much though, may be hard to overturn.

Just ****ing why. With a team that has hitters up and down the line-up why risk the extra-base out.

I'm way madder at beltran caused a base-running out ahead of what would have been an RBI single than correa's RISP troubles. One was entirely preventable. One was not.

Base running has definitely been the biggest weakness of the team this year.

Lots of base runners and can't get them home. Frustrating
