Great post. If the rockets can limit some of the end game bone head plays and defend the Spurs well on the 3pt line they'll have a shot. If they play like last series against OKC they won't beat the Spurs IMHO. Do not let Danny Green, Ginobli or players like Mills get it going from the 3pt line please.

ESPN's BPI gives us a 30% chance of winning this series with the most likely outcomes being Spurs in 5 (23%), Spurs in 7 (22%), Spurs in 6 (16%), and Rockets in 6 (13%)

If it goes to 7, SAS. If it ends in 6, Rockets. Gotta steal a game in SA in the first two. I don't see the Rockets winning game 5, but could easily win 1,3,4 and 6. Harden has to do Harden things as well. We played like trash against OKC, not gonna cut it anymore.

Patty Mills is the key factor late in games. We can not allow him to get an open 3 off during that time.

With that said, I am going on the side of history on this one as the Rockets are 3-0 all time against the Spurs in the playoffs. Rockets in 6!!!!

Lou Williams and Eric Gordon will eat Tony Parker alive this series. They can hide him vs Memphis but not Houston and GSW.

How will we counter Lamarcus? I still get nightmares from that Blazer series with Terrence Jones on him.

How would you rate Harden after bested the MVP Westbrook then another defeat the MVP Contender Leonard follow by sending the former MVPs Curry fishing and win the ring over the MVP of MVPs Lebron James?

The Rockets were the first team to bring the championship pedigree to the state of Texas. Our little brother team known as the Spurs carried the torch for us for awhile now and they did so with a lot of class. It's nice to have a little brother team like the Spurs but now it's time for the big brother to take the torch back and carry us once again.

As a Longhorn, I really miss my little brother Aggies and I'm sad we don't get to play them anymore. As a Rockets fan I'm equally sad that we haven't had a playoff series against our little brother Spurs in over 20 years. :(

Interesting series. Aldridge has the potential to kill us as we don't match up again with length, and D'Antoni might not know what he's capable of in that scenario like we fans do. Leonard presents the same problems. Their offense has the potential to slice us up with cuts. Harden cannot just float. I reckon it just comes down to will the Spurs execute at an efficient level or are they just older now.

Yeah, I'm very afraid of Aldridge. He may have been pretty bad this year, but he wasn't 40ppg good when he lit us up a few years ago.

We're playing COOL teams like LSU & Alabama and ****, instead of Iowa State and Kansas. We're GOOD, but glad y'all miss us.

I'm PUMPED for the series. Gonna be a blast. Unlike the Clippers, Warriors and Thunder, the Spurs don't at all annoy me. They're a team I can actually respect.

spurs are my least favorite team in the NBA. if you lived in austin then you might feel the same way. their fans are the most condescending elitist fans that you can imagine. most of them just automatically assume that they are way smarter/knowledgeable about basketball than you are.

Most of the Spurs fans in Austin are bandwagon fans who know very little about basketball but like to pretend that they do, they're completely harmless. I find the Rockets fans there to be quite knowledgeable, however.
