It's amazing. I was Diamond Club tonight. Everyone is catching onto this for Reddick. He might be my favorite Stro
EVERY friggin body was doing it walking out of the stadium and to the parking lots. It's never gonna die. :-(
I wonder what it would take to drop Correa. I need more ABs for Gattis and Yuli. Probably drop Beltran.
I would assume he would have to be batting less than 0.300 for the past 5 games with less than 3 doubles. Edit: Looking at stats, it shows he also hit homer on Sunday that I didn't remember.
i don't think you folks realize what it would take to move cornea down in the lineup. It would be extremely short sighted to do so.
Don't make me fight you! In all seriousness...I'm curious what he does against this guy. If you're scuffling, he could be a breakout pitcher (slow everything down, not have to worry about the 95), he could also completely screw up the swing of anyone in the lineup like a knuckelballer. No excuses for slow bats today.
I'm not advocating, though the Ks are bothering me, he had been hitting the ball with more authority it seems when I've been able to watch. Just a curious question on my part.
For all of the unexpected underperformance from guys like Correa and Bregman, the line-up still looks stacked. On the flip side, i'm looking at the Rangers lineup for tonight and it looks absolutely brutal. DDJ leading off. The 3/4/5 hitters are hitting .205 (Gomez), .191 (Odor), and .155 (Napoli). Their big trade get last year (Lucroy) is batting ninth and is hitting .203. I'm actually amazed they're only 3 games under .500. I read their SB Nation blog this afternoon and those fans are ready to blow it up.
Didn't mean it to come off that you were. Just tired of the reactions to small ssmple sizes with the implications that guys be changed roles. Looking at baseball savant, he's got as many batted balls over 106 mph EV this week as he has the rest of the season. Only twice this week has he gotten below league average exit velocity on the balls he's batted.
