There was a article from state of the Texans that mention a pair of OL we got that supposedly the team is high on.

Or a free agent in mind. No reason to pick for need when you can get some steals and steal some camp casualties with the cap room we have.

I wonder if they like Kendall Lamm more than we know because Chris Clark can't be the starter this season.

Yes he was rated as a late 2nd, but, I disagree about this not being a need. Our short yard game has clearly sucked for a few years now. We have the premier defense, our receivers are really strong, it's O-line (poor draft), QB (drafted), TE (sufficient) and short yard back (check)

Agreed, as much as BOB likes to run it up the gut, we absolutely need to have someone that can do that effectively and this kid can.

What concerns me is that it seems like we always have injury problems on the offensive line. I'm not just worried about the starters, but also our depth.

I'm actually more disappointed they missed out on the Safeties than I am about the tackle. There were some really good ones in this draft. There was just a big rush on them in the 2nd round before the Texans got to pick.

I'm with this we're too deep now to look back. Might as well try and find a hidden gem and use the rest of our picks on surefire talent.

Tackles: Brown, Clark, Lamm, draft pick, DQ?
    Guard: Martin/Mancz, XSF, Allen, DQ?
    Center: Martin/Mancz

That is not bad depth. Clark is actually a good backup LT; he was just horrible playing RT. They are loaded with starters at the guard/center positions. Not the greatest talent but there is some depth.

Watson, Foreman, Miller, Hopkins, and all we're missing is that cornerstone at TE and we've got ourselves that dream offense. I say sign the best one available with our saved up cap space next off season. S, WR, CB, OT depth till the end, should be our picks going forward

Well they already have CJ Fiedorowicz to be the cornerstone at TE.

I think the media kept feeding us that the Texans were going to get a RT and kept including it as a major need so fans expected them to draft one early in the draft. But there wasn't a lot from the organization that they planned on doing so. They met with Cam and Bolles but they were short visits and much later than their other visits. I didn't expect a high drafted tackle so I'm not as disappointed.

I don't see Fiedorowicz as a cornerstone. When I think cornerstone I think pro bowl potential

Well, he's got that potential. There's not many TE's that have a better combo of blocking ability and receiving ability. He spent most of last season blocking due to how terrible the O line was and he still led the team in TD receptions.
