    He was already warmed up to go in with the 3 run lead, they scored more with 2 outs and there wasn't enough time to warm somebody else up even if Hinch had wanted to. He probably wanted Giles to go ahead and pitch, don't think he's been in a game in a while.

    I don't think he has pitched in a while and also was likely already ready to go for the 9th.

    Even though he just had a sweet hit and a couple of good AB's this game, I still agree with this.

    Hopefully he can adjust and this continues going forward.

    But if he continues to struggle like he has been after a couple of weeks they should still think about a switch.

    Besides health, 3-5 starters and Correa are the weakest links. An All-World bully helps sow one, and a great 6-9 might offset the other.
