That's a great pick. Athletic LB who can take Simon's place and will be able to cover RB's. He was an easy first round talent.

Love this pick! This probably wasn't the biggest need, but a lot of analysts thought he was one of the best players available heading into the second round, and he certainly addresses an area of need. Good value pick. Improves a weakness. I'll take it.

Nice, solid LB that can cover TEs and RBs

Thought he would be a little small for bob and crennel liking.

    Great pick.

Will he start outside and play there until Cushing retires? I think he'll play outside on first and second down...

LB was definitely not a need, but he's a great talent, and he gives us replacement/relief at any of the 4 lb spots. Solid pick.

If he can actually cover RB and TE's then he's a perfect pick for us. That is a huge weakness of our defense (which gets exposed in the playoffs).

Great pick. Keep loading up Rick. Fast playmaker at LB was needed. Now go CB round 3

Zach Cunningham is great fit and wlll be playing from day one. I would have taken the Saints offer because we would have replaced the #2 next year and still got another #3 this year. However if they insisted on keeping the pick, Cunningham is an excellent pick.

Weak tackler, good speed and coverage ability. My guess is he isn't ever a big time player but helps the defense in certain packages.

The tape on Cunningham is solid. Great pick. Fits what Crennel wants to do in the front 7. I thought the Patriots might even move up for him.

We just lost arguably our best corner and a safety who played really well for us last year. This was a reach unless we cut Cushing for cap space

Feels like a BPA, I like it, most projections had him in the early second round. He immediately addresses teams like the Raiders and Pats that destroyed us with those RB and TE quick outs.

Still plenty of DB talent out there, and the OT possibilities weren't on the quality level that would have made the pick worth it.

Did we really need another weak tackler?

Great value. He's going to be a very good player for us.

That said, the Texans have mucked everything up by reaching/giving up next year's first for Watson and not getting a plug in OT in the first couple of rounds.

was personally hoping for Obi then the Raiders had to ruin it all one pick ahead.

    Still like the Cunningham pick
