Same with Brock. And when Brock flopped, he allegedly is letting people know he wasnt in on the pick. What if he was being honest the first time and then dishonest the 2nd time trying to save face? Which Bill should we believe? Will the real O'Brien please stand up?

Isn't that like 98% of his posts?

I don't know. Asking for a friend. I have him blocked.

Every public utterance from BOB, re: Brock, was positive; you're choosing to attribute unsubstantiated comments to him. None of us how any idea how much involvement he had in Osweiler's arrival and departure.

Being that he actually TALKED to Watson means a whole heck of a lot to me. So, Ill go with just putting on a face both times.

Its not that hard to understand why the Brown will pass on Watson.

He is not Manning or Luck, that one of those guys that you can draft once in 20 years.

The Brown will need that kind of guy to turn the franchise around, they have too many holes, they can wait.

    The Texans can't wait.

Yeah but all the O'Brienites will tell you he was just towing the company line with his "public utterances". If Brock turned out to be the next coming of Brady, no one would have been saying he wasn't O'Brien's choice.

I'm tied of the whole thing.... I don't know why people give a flying F who did what to whom - it in no way, shape or form has anything to do with being a fan of the franchise.

The ONLY bottom line that should concern us is the product on the field. That's it. How that product gets there, frankly... I mean, obviously free agency and drafts and trade are fun - but we don't need a how-the-sausage-is-made front row seat to any of them.

SMH, yes, no one cares where he was born, I was obviously talking about where he went to college.....but go ahead and be "that guy" if it makes you feel better.

I don't mean it as a slight, I'm really just saying that even though it goes against the way I prefer to look at prospects that doesn't mean it's wrong. The Texans' first round history speaks for itself and even if I see them as being the group of old scouts in the movie Moneyball when it comes to this pick, those guys hit pretty damn often. So basically even if hearing about "intangibles" and whatnot is like nails on a chalkboard for me, it doesn't mean those guys aren't on to something I can't see.

I think he meant it as what he was saying was a slight to you.. He was saying when you calmly say something its usually a pretty intriguing read.

Anybody watched this guy? kind of refreshing since it isnt all sunshines and rainbows. He has one for Mitch and Mahomes as well. Shows all their bad points. I put Kizer as well because he was the guy's favorite and who he thought should go to the Texans.

I went to Texas A&M - am I "from" College Station?... But, sure - you were "obviously" talking about where he's spent about 15% of his life.

Between this and your flubbing of his record against Bama - maybe spend less time posting, more on Wikipedia.

I meant that they picked yet another palyer from Clemson University or the University of South Carolina, which has been a recent trend. I would hope you would be able to realize this. Bob McNair isn't from South Carolina either, he's from North Carolina, but we talk about his South Carolina ties due to the University of South Carolina being his alma mater.

Also, if my organization that was located in a different part of the country hired several people in recent years that graduated from universities in Texas, yes, in a situation where you were hired fresh out of college, I'd probably say that you were another hire from Texas even if you grew up in Louisiana.
