Then, I would have passed. As much as I like the kid, I don't go out on a limb like this, messing with two drafts and the trickle down effect...what an unnecessary roll of the dice...just wreaks of desperation/ wing and a prayer vs. a smart move from strength.

 

What talent will they groom? Nathan Peterman? They need a QB for 2017. The top 3 QBs are off the board. Maybe Jay Cutler?

 

Like I said earlier, it doesn't mess with this year's drat. Only next year's. I don't think it is desperation. It's doing what it takes to get a guy they really liked. If this is desperation, what do you call the Chiefs?

He is not Hakeem, he is not CLyde, he is not Rudy T, heck he is not Yao Ming or even Harden. All these are much greater players and leaders and have achieved more than JJ whose most famous accomplishments have been 2-14 season and 40-0 HUMILIATION at HOME

 

Draft hasn't finished

 

So @topfive's_gf is in Philly this week, teaching a seminar.

First she tells me she wants to go to a museum, but the NFL Draft is taking place in that area and traffic's a mess.

Then she says she's going to try to get down there. Keep in mind she's a Rockets fan, but doesn't really watch the NFL.

Then she says she's there and someone gave her a ticket.

Then she says she's in the draft area, sitting close to the stage.

At this point, I'm halfway expecting a text from her saying she's been drafted by the Browns.
