I actually find the way we won this series as impressive. For all the talk about the rockets according to the media if there 3's aren't falling they will lose, well the 3's were not raining yet we won ugly and better yet we showed a killer instinct by closing out Russell Westbrook in 5 games. I'm loving this season because the rockets have absolutely destroyed narratives this year and I hope it continues
First of all, don't say mic dropped. It borders on douchey. Memphis would've taken us to 6 or 7 games too. Theyre a much better postseason team than Westbrook and the Thunder.
Yeah Im happy we could find a way even when we didnt shoot well. I just don't know if we can keep shooting poorly if we want to contend. Regardless, happy to take this series!
Sounds like an excuse to me. Bottom line is that we beat a 6th seed 4 to 1 and San Antonio is still playing. Rather than mic dropped, I'll say, "facts trump conjecture."
I think he'll be fine against the Spurs. They don't have the long and agile bigs that OKC had. Mainly referring to Gibson and Grant who were on him most of the time.
I purposely spell his name wrong because he plays for our enemy, the Spurs. The real question we should be asking is why do so many posters still spell Beverley and Capela wrong? You know, since they play for our team.
I like our chances against the Spurs. We match up well with them. Having said that, if we can't hit our 3s and/or if Anderson doesn't show up to the playoffs, we won't move beyond the WCF even if we do beat SA.
I completely agree ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp ShutUp Rocket River Fake Fans . . .aka half @ss fans
Hmmmm, now I wonder if you are a closet Kawhi fan for using a K to butcher the name Clutch. I always have problems spelling Ginobody's name. And watch, if it's Memphis, everyone will remember the "ley" in Conley's name, but many will still get Beverley wrong. Damn Beverly Hills LA crap causing this.
If I'm Rockets brass I take the risk and scout Spurs more than grizzlies rest of the week. We need to find a way to win 1 game on road either 1 or 2 and steal home court
This is a beautiful, fun, hard-working, together, and well-coached team. But, we need to play our best to be the best. I hope that comes out next series going forward. We must find our shooting touch from 3. All this time off could be just what we need to regroup.
The Rockets, a shooting team, shot like crap this series and still beat their opponent, a solid playoff team, without much trouble. It is, of course, true that few teams win four series while shooting like crap. I would very much like to see the Rockets NOT shoot like crap going forward. But I do see this optimistically, as an indicator of potential rather than a sign of weakness. We are the underdogs from this point on and there's a lot of good basketball we know this team can play that is, to this point, untapped in the playoffs. OP is right but I feel positive about it.
