I don't really approve of our bench (who can't even get into the game) laughing at a guy who has been a real contributor in this series, but it's not even close to the biggest disrespect. I can recall everything from players mothers being disrespected to racial slurs being used in NBA games. I'd have preferred if our guys were a little more professional, but this isn't a big deal at all.
Maybe so. But he is going to come up looking to clamp Harden down even more. If Harden does have a bum ankle then Game 5 could be a challenge. But one has to wonder. How the F can you be shooting 12% from the free throw line and 50% from the 3pt line? How does that work? Should he back up on his free throws?
Respect is earned. Thinking the same way. Knowing you're bad at free throws, having people publicly laughing at you will just make you tighten up more. Whether it's disrespectful or whatever, it helps win the game. It's the playoffs -- no room for being offended. If they lose again, they're gone.
btw: if Roberson sees them after the miss and it screws with his head that the opponent is laughing, then I'm all for it. Just no making noise, or distracting movement,,,,that would be wrong....leave that to the fans.
