Dang. This might be on the level of Houston comeback against the Clippers in the 2015 Game 6 WCSF. This Pacer team is not going to recover mentally for years. Time to just break up the team and get PG here.
So....whatever huge amounts of money PG is supposed to lose by signing elsewhere, can this loss be eventually recouped with his new team? I ask this because, besides money, there is no way I see PG staying in Indiana.
I never knew Oh yeah, he's still going to get paid but the next team he plays for will have a full understanding that he is a shitty leader
I dunno how would that work. We need a capologist here. I just know that if PG came to Bird and expressed to him a desire to be traded to the Rockets, Morey would pretty much surrender anybody not named Harden to make it happen, as he should. Before the formation of the superteams, any team led by a superstar and a bunch of good role players had a chance at a ring. PG has to realize he has to join in with another superstar to even have a chance to compete with teams such as the Cavs. Houston is the clear choice, IMO.
PG to Houston, make it happen Morey! Harden Bev PG Capela it's a shame we don't have the pieces to acquire him through a trade and he won't be a free agent until 2018
Idk why y'all are trying to act like PG is some cancer in the locker room. Some of y'all would pass on him?? Do y'all want to contend or continue trotting out Harden + role players while hoping that we can beat SA and not get embarrassed by GS. PG is clearly frustrated and does not want to be in Indy any longer. He's been unhappy all season. He'll feel rejuvenated once he's playing for a good team again.
How do we know he'd be happy here? All indications are he wants to be in LA. What if he's unhappy playing for any team but the Lakers(or maybe the Clippers)? I'm not questioning his talent. Having him at the 3 instead of Ariza would be a massive upgrade. And I probably would roll the dice on that deal if the Pacers are willing to take Anderson in return(or maybe a package of Ariza, Lou, and Harrell). But I still have major concerns that he'd be disgruntled here and that he may be eyeballing the exits all season as he prepares to opt out in 2018.
Lebron has proven again that he is the best player of this generation. He can pretty much do whatever he wants to do on the court.
Cleveland's roster top to bottom is deadly IMO better all around than Warriors shooters everywhere...2 of the best stretch 4's in the league extra play makers and scorers good defensive wings Rebounding bigs
The Warriors' top 4 are untouchable, and they still have the better bench with Iggy, Livingston, West. Their young guys like Clark and McCaw are also stepping up. Heck, even McGee has been revitalized on this squad. Warriors in 6.
the pacers finally miss a damn shot in the 4th and lebron drops it out of bounds and teague hits an off-the-dribble contested 3. and cleveland can't throw it in the ocean. cleveland doing a great job of running poor 4th quarter offense again.
