What if Carlos Beltran helps lead this team to a WS title?

    How poetic would it be for the guy who was made famous here in Houston and then left, only to suffer misfortune with other teams and never find a real groove. He never won a WS with any of those teams. He then returns to the team that helped make him famous, and he helps lead that team to a WS title?

    Your thoughts? Seems like fate to me.

    Looked that way in 2004--his bat might have made the difference against the black sox had he stayed in 05.

    It would be great and all but Beltran other than a few injury plagued seasons still produced at a very high clip after leaving Houston hitting .280 or better in almost every year with well over 300 HR's

    Screw bspn. All rights to that story would go to Sports Illustrated. They predicted us 2017 Champs 2 years ago.
