I don't think the fan said the N word to Beverley. Why would he call him the N word when most players if his team are black? I think the fan called Beverley a p***y, or maybe he threaten him.

How do you call someone a racist when you dont even have full details to the story?? o_Oo_Oo_O

*******, d******d, dumb piece of ****- all of these work for now, but its way too easy to call people 'racists' these days without knowing full details.

I'm not sure I agree that Bev didn't do anything wrong. I don't think Bev broke any laws, but he may have broken an NBA rule. The NBA may have some rule about players entering the stands. Now, the fan was on the front row and Beverley may not have actually left the floor, so it may be kind of a gray area. If the NBA decides that Beverley actually entered the seating area to confront the fan, then they may feel that Beverley should be punished in some way. It all depends on what the players have been instructed about confronting fans and entering the stands.

I'm guessing that after the Artest incident the NBA made it very clear to the players what they should, and what they should not do with unruly fans.

I certainly don't believe Beverley deserves to be suspended for any games, but I don't know what rules the NBA has in place for these types of incidents.

Why would Donald Sterling say anything racist about his players. Most of his team are black.

Rich spoiled kids will say anything they want to these players knowing they can't fight back.

Take a look at the fan in question's twitter. I'm not going to link it here to start a witch hunt but he is clearly a racist douchebag and says the stupidest ****. You'd think a kid with such wealthy parents would educated their kids with some class but not in this case.

It is really sad that these bums actually have had good teams to root for while knowledgable fans of NY are treated to steaming pile of hot **** like Knicks and Nets year after year.

I feel for my friends that are Knicks/Nets fans.

Wow, are you making assumptions about Trump supporters, or do you go to Trump rallies and hear the regulars using racist words?

Maybe someone can read lips better then me but I can't determine from the video what he yelled
with all the camera movement. But from the 16 second to the 21 second mark you can see the
incident clearly. He did yell something and he did yell down at Beverley while he was at his feet.
Maybe he spit unintentionally when he yelled or called him a b*stard. That is my best guess..

Im glad new york fans have crap. Them and los angeles are elitist and act way more entitled to good teams.

New york folks are like "we are the mecca! We deserve winning basketball more than smaller cities"

I believe all cities are just as deserving. Just cause new york and la are big, it doesnt mean that they deserve star players or winning anymore than cities like okc, san antonio, portland, or cleveland

They were also all dicks about the 94 championship. The whole east coast media hates us since then.

The media sucks about it but fans are very knowledgeable.

I watched the 94 Finals in NY, amongst Knicks fans.

They were very gracious in loss and gave props to Hakeem and the crew.

Trumps entire campaign was based on white nationalism, it's not shocking that would attract a less than tolerant base...
