    yes.

in the toyota center we still show highlights of a dunk from a first round series that we lost

imagine a game winner to go 3-0 over the mvp.

Lol..... they might have some individual defenders like us or better than ours even.

but their problem is exactly our problem. They do not defend as well as an overall team.

    What is done is done.

After the game, Harden mentioned that they needed to come out with a "dog" at the start of next game. I sure hope so. I hope they come out super intense this Sunday, and come back 3-1.

Btw, our bigs should be embarrassed by their performance, especially Capela. C'mon, man, you can play like you are made of toilette paper.

Ariza is our biggest offensive liability. If teams want to beat the Rockets, they should make Ariza shoot a lot of shots. He has been in a slump the past 2 seasons. He is just plain awful.

Ariza has not played particularly well this series.

He *just* hit a three to tie the game- why not go for the win with open looks?

Loops and holes, and flashes of brillance, brehski. And a 6th seed to show for it.

    they're a 6th seed because they're not good offensively.

Sure, that is true but they are not a consistent team either on both ends. They got excellent individual defenders and rebounders but are still not Top 3 in ratings where they should have been.

Other than WB's consistent chase for the Triple Double.

I give you couple of teams that hang their hat on Defense for more than just one or two seasons.

Memphis, Spurs, Cavs if they wanted to, Dubs if Draymond was at his best and when they had Bogut.

Exactly the teams that can give us more problems.

Our Offense can kill your 'most of the teams in the league' and is supposed to be better than OKC.

The Thunder were small favorites to win this game so nothing to get beaten up over. Houston will get over the 3 point shooting hump sooner than later.

Ariza is our Roberson, except Roberson is hitting his shot and plays better D. And they said WB has no help. They haven't watched Ariza for zero zzzz

I think we play good but not smart.

You can imagine ref will give every foul call to OKC to make it a longer series...
You have to grab every defensive rebounds at the end....

The math disagrees. I was thinking the same thing at first that the Rockets should have went for higher percentage two on last shot but the math doesn't support that notion. When down by 2, if Harden is 30-35% to make a 3 and he makes it you win the game. If Harden makes a 2 you go to overtime where you have a 50% or so chance to win. So even if he's 40-55% to make a 2 point contested layup that's say 20-27.5% to win the game in overtime. It's better to shoot a 30%-35% contested 3-point shot where you win 30-35% of the time. If you get a foul you generally have to make both free throws for a chance at overtime and foul calls seem harder to get on the final play. Another thing, the oddsmakers would probably have the Thunder a favorite to win in overtime at home so that would potentially be < 50% to win if went to ovetime.
