We led the NBA in least games missed to injury/illness this year with 57. OKC was second with 73, while at the other end of the scale the Heat missed 334.

Perhaps not coincidentally, this year saw a new record in DNP-Rests and the 2nd best (lowest) record in missed games to injury (just 4,198 down from 5,000 in 2013/14).

Has our playing style affected these numbers? More outside shooting --> less injuries?

Wow. Major props to the health staff. That's amazing considering who we have in our lineup.

Yes, they managed Anderson very well when he had his usual problems. Same with Beverley. Unlike other seasons when they brought injured players back early.

I think this type of stat requires more detail.

I mean who is injured? Guys 9-15, or starters, makes a big difference as to whatever conclusion you want to draw from this.

Obviously less injured is less injured and better.

Really surprising considering we signed Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon.

We were 3rd from bottom in salary lost to injury. Salary should be a decent proxy for playing contribution.

This is a good thread that has data and is interesting. Even if a rockets player gets injured, it will have nothing whatsoever to do with this thread.

Leave it open. Yall superstitious folk probably believe in the tooth fairy and santa claus still
